Testimonials from Coworkers
“Laura is one of those X-factor people. She brings an energy and enthusiasm to every thing that she works on that is infectious that you can't help but want to contribute to the research/testing or workshop she is running. Her knowledge and ability to explain and relate to the topic at hand is one of the best I have encountered in my career. Her inquisitive nature and thirst for knowledge helps her to get down to the root problem statements and then build a plan to find opportunities to resolve it. Laura is one of the strongest user advocates I have ever met and always challenges the team to focus on the users journey and experience over the functionality. I would definitely given the opportunity always pick Laura to lead my user research and workshops.”

JC Martel - Senior UX Designer, Bell
“I’ve worked with Laura for around 2 years at Bell and during that time she stood out as an exceptional mentor and later as a manager. She consistently demonstrated thought leadership within the company, possessing a wealth of knowledge spanning various discovery, analysis, and ideation techniques crucial for solving difficult problems. Laura not only imparted this knowledge to the teams and designers she collaborated with, but also fostered a culture of curiosity and collaboration. Her positive demeanour, coupled with her profound expertise, made her a trusted resource whenever there was a design challenge or a complex problem to solve.
On top of this, Laura has incredible presentation and facilitation skills. I’ve witnessed her take an exhausted, reserved group of strangers and transform them into engaged participants eager to collaborate and share ideas. She knows how to ask the right questions to illicit valuable insights, which she expertly applies to enhance the products and experiences she touches.”
